Lost property
We offer, in collaboration with CFF, a customer service for the return of property found on the public transport network. This cooperation facilitates the search for lost objects and improves the tracking of the property found.
Notification of loss online
he easiest way of declaring your lost property is to complete an online search notice. This process is free. The place where the lost property should be returned to must be specified in the form.

You can also report lost property by going to one of our customer centres or by calling CFF Rail Service.

Restitution fee
We will immediately inform you of the result of the search. If the lost property is in our possession, it will be returned to you within 48 hours, subject to a restitution fee.

Storage of your property
The public transport ordinance stipulates the obligation to keep:
- for one month items whose value does not exceed CHF 50.-
- 3 months for all goods of a higher value
Handling unclaimed lost and found
After expiry of the legal period, unclaimed items are handed over to fundsachenverkauf.ch (sale of lost property).
